Effective January 1, 2012, Mark Millett, 53, became President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. News release
Millett, a director and co-founder of the company, served as President and Chief Operating Officer from April to December 2011. As an Executive Vice President of Steel Dynamics, in 2008 he became President of SDI’s metals-recycling business, OmniSource Corporation. Previously, for more than 10 years, he was responsible for SDI’s Flat Roll Division.
