Brief Description:
Work with National Accounts Project Manager to review drawings on national account projects. The primary role will be in reviewing revised drawings for changes to assist in generation of change orders. Additionally, support National Accounts projects by working on document control for National Accounts.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• An understanding of the steel joist and deck ordering, engineering, fabrication and delivery process.
• An understanding of the products New Millennium manufactures.
• An ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers both verbally and written.
• Work well with multiple departments and team members.
• Self-motivated
• Work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Work well with multiple team members and be willing to pick up additional tasks when required.
• Ability to multi-task and be able to problem solve.
• Ability to review structural drawings. Especially be able to compare drawings for modifications and changes.
• Familiarity with the change order process.
• Comfort explaining changes on drawings to customers.
Required:
• Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, OIS, and JEDI.
• Understanding of joist, deck, and the construction process.
